Maintenance Mechanic - Second Shift

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic - Second Shift for our Production Department.

 You will:

    • Setup jobs based on Direct Mail Lettershop Production needs
    • Maintain log of preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is properly maintained
    • Help assess equipment needs and partner with Manager of Production Resources on implementation
    • Assist in ensuring jobs are finished on time and correct                
    • Train associates on equipment, usage and minor repairs
    • Help maintain and repair Lettershop Production equipment
    • Provide innovative ideas to help improve production processes and achieve production goals

Basic Qualifications:       

    • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
    • 2-3 years of experience in a Production environment 
    • Warehouse/Machinery experience
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
    • Excellent hand, eye coordination, and mathematical aptitude
    • Able to lift 50 lbs. and grasp bundles of material up to 4” thick repeatedly
    • Stand, bend and stoop for periods up to 8 hours a day
    • Must be multitask-oriented
    • Good attention to detail
    • The ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple work assignments in a fast-paced environment
    • The ability to work in a team environment and self-sufficiently by themselves 

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Direct Mail/Print Production environment 
  • Experience working on various inserters and bindery production equipment
