We currently have an opportunity for a 2025 Summer Intern at OSG in our Carol Stream, IL facility. This is a compensated internship with no health benefits or paid holidays/ vacation time and will run through the summer months of May – August.

Job Title: Accounting Intern

Position: Temp, 30 - 40 hours/Week

Work Location: Carol Stream, IL

Onsite: 4 days a week

Responsibilities

• Assist Accounting with close process at the beginning of every month.
• Record journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial statements.
• Work closely with accounting managers and executives to work on various process improvement projects and accounting system projects.

Position Qualifications

We are looking for a highly resourceful and analytical college junior or senior student with the following attributes:

• GPA Requirement: 3.0 GPA or higher 
• Working towards Bachelor’s/Master’s degree program in Business, Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and strong Excel skills preferred.
• Critical thinking/problem solving coupled with assertiveness to pursue necessary information to resolve issues.
• Intellectually curious with a passion for learning.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail.
• Ambitious and capable of working independently; proactive attitude towards professional development.
