Sr. Identity & Access Management Engineer (Remote)

Position Summary

The IAM Engineer is a senior position within the Information Technology function responsible for directing, designing and engineering of OSG’s IAM solutions using Okta as a platform. This individual will be working closely with business unit leadership, Infrastructure Engineering, Applications Development, Cloud Operations, Information Security and other functions to ensure that critical applications and systems are integrated with Okta and development of new applications support federation.

Reports to: Director, Integration & Cloud Operations

Responsibilities

  • Design solutions for integration of systems/applications into OSG’s Okta
  • Implement technical capabilities, including IAM solutions and application integrations, to enhance enterprise security risk posture
  • Support a range of architecture, development, and IAM implementation activities
  • Design, develop and implement solutions to security requirements
  • Work with various applications development teams to ensure sound practices with regards to identity and access management, such as support for Open ID, SAML and other federation protocols
  • Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement procedures, process definition, training, and audits for assuring quality in an IAM development environment

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, including requirements, design, implementation, deployment, and operations and maintenance in a large and complex environment
  • 5+ years of experience in security architecture engineering and design, security strategy, regulatory compliance, and security processes and procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Experience implementing Access Certifications, Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC), Identify Lifecycle Management, Role Lifecycle Management, and customer-focused IAM implementations
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and other authentication technologies
  • IAM Technology Certification such as OKTA certified

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in development/configuration of standard/custom IAM integrations using Java, HTML, and CSS, and experience in hands-on development, estimations, sizing, and custom IAM integrations
  • Experience carrying out advanced application integration with the IAM solution and dealing with advanced provisioning (e.g., multilevel workflows), single sign-on, and PKI concepts
  • Technical architecture experience integrating identity management, access management
  • CIAM certification
